Counselling is a widely-used talking therapy. There are different approaches to counselling not all models work for everyone.
I am known as an Integrative Counsellor which means I use different models of counselling depending on the type of problems/issues my clients are experiencing. My core models are Person Centred and Cognitive Behavioural Counselling (CBT). I find the support and empathy from the person centred model works well with the CBT offering a chance to explore the very difficult thoughts and feelings that accompany any life changing events.
Through counselling I can give you the opportunity and space to talk freely, openly and confidentially, knowing that you will be truly listened to and supported. It becomes your space to explore troubling aspects of your life in safety and without judgement.
